Is it just me, or is basketball, and in particular the NBA, the biggest discussion point you have with your kids in regards to "it was better back in my day"

I mean, the Dream Team sums it up for me, late 80's through to mid nineties was when the league was at it's peak.

I’d even go back to the early 80’s. Those Boston, LA (and even Philly in 82/83) were all very good teams. The Celtics only lost 1 home game all season in 86 & would’ve gone back to back in 87 if not for McHale & Walton being injured.

Its just such a shit product these days
30 teams all playing the same way
Scores of 145-140 are common now, scores of 80-75 in the 90s were better to watch
Outside of the actual game, the players are more interested in being celebrities and political activists than NBA players
The lady that said "shut and dribble" to LeBron about 10 years ago was 100% correct
