Massive Weekends.

Friday Night - Crown with the lads, til 3am.

Saturday Arvo - On the punt with the lads at my local.

Sunday - Golf at my new home club. The previous 2 days perhaps not the ideal preparation, but it is what it is right!?!.

Shattered now, sipping on a cold Corona… think I’m too old for this shit… but I love it!

Got a message last night from a mate telling me to get Melbourne Cup Day off so we can fly over to Flemington and watch his horse run (all expenses paid).

Got in at 5am this morning and grabbed the smartest dude that works in my area and started teaching him the basic fundamentals of my role, game on.

Lonely Planet have listed their top 25 Travel Destinations for 2026 -

https://www.lonelyplanet.com/best-in-tr ... nd-outback

There’s an otherworldly beauty to the Ikara-Flinders Ranges that is unlike anywhere else in the Australian outback. A five-hour drive north of South Australia’s cultured capitalAdelaide (save a detour to riesling country in the verdantClare Valley) and you’ll be rewarded with a sprawling, scrubby, lunarlike landscape.

According to the land’s Traditional Owners, the Adnyamathanha people, the mountainous walls of Ikara (Wilpena Pound) are the bodies of two intertwined Akurra (giant serpents). The pound’s short day hikes snake alongside gum-tree-lined gullies leading to ancient Indigenous rock paintings.

Don't for a minute take for granted how lucky we are to live where we do.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
