Cox Played A2 and i dont think did a heap (this might be wrong but from what i remember)

i think they would beat alot of sides but backing up what was said above, Goodwood would demolish them i think. most sides would run with them though

they lost some big names from last season. it was always going to hurt them

Cox played A2s and A1s for Walkies after they got promoted including averaging over 70 in A1s at #3 one season. Looked it up in as much time as it took to read your post

Sounds like he found his true level, should have stayed there. Jog on.

Bays were cruising at 4/138 Thomas “horned up” putting Schiller into the stand two balls later tries the same and is out.

56 to get with 5 wickets in hand and 20 overs to go, that is a monumental F*** Up by Glenelg
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Playing Conditions say One Over Eliminator (Super over) for Ties.

Frogbox cuts out so unsure if they did, but definitely should have by the looks

Bad light only thing can think of, wasn’t that dark at 6pm though!

Apparently Bays won the Super over, they could not get Play HQ or Frogbox to work for it

Thanks for the update.

I found the stream for the end of the game, and if you left the stream on long enough you could see some sort of play happening behind the final scorecard that appeared on the screen. For obvious reasons it was completely impossible to know what was happening, but it did look like it took place.

Heard today that Ben Cameron passed away, well known in Grade circles and former Redbacks player. Would assume Redbacks wear black arm bands tomorrow maybe.

Very sad, only 44 and two young kids, not sure of circumstances yet. Always enjoyed chatting cricket with him, knew his stuff that's for sure :(

From AdelaideNow:
Former South Australian state cricketer, selector dies

South Australia’s cricket community is in mourning after a former state cricketer who later went into coaching and administration died this week.

South Australia’s cricket community is in mourning after the death of former SA player and selector Ben Cameron this week at 44.

An opener, Cameron played 10 first-class matches and nine one-dayers for the Redbacks from 2004-07.

On his Pura Cup debut, Cameron posted a pair of half-centuries at the MCG, opening the batting against a Victorian attack that included future Australian players Mick Lewis, Andrew McDonald and Cameron White.

Cameron was also a teammate of Australian Test players including Darren Lehmann, Greg Blewett, Jason Gillespie, Ryan Harris and Shaun Tait.

Hampered by knee troubles before retiring, Cameron later coached in South Australia before taking over as head coach and high performance manager of the Vanuatu national side. He subsequently served as a selector for the SA state team, as recently as last year, contributing to the state’s historic Sheffield Shield and one-day double.

“We are aware of and deeply saddened by the passing of South Australian former player and staff member Ben Cameron,” the SACA said on Friday.

“Out of respect for Ben’s family we will not be making any further comment at this stage.”

While Cameron held the Vanuatu role for less than a year, he said at the time of his resignation that the experience had been life changing.

“From the moment I was appointed last March, it has been a privilege working with the VCA in 2022, which was not only about winning games of cricket for the national teams, but also supporting the development of a strong pathway for young cricketers to identify and invest in the next wave of talent,” Cameron said.

“The experience of connecting with players and VCA staff has been life changing, which will influence the next phase of my career. I wish the players, VCA and the new coach all the best in what is an exciting 2023 ahead.”

On early season but any improvement from Prospect or Southerns.
Prospect 2 wins in T20, none last year, one of the wins was against the Stingrays

What's the record amount of Clubs someone has played at?

Oscar Harms may be closing in on the record

I had a feeling he started at some club like a Kensy/ET?

Then went to Uni, last couple at Prospect.

Started year at Port (thought that was weird choice when was no star at the perennial wooden spooners).

Now named for Southerns tomorrow.

Think someone thinks they are a bit better than they actually are maybe

I reckon he may have also been at Northern Districts?
Heard through the grapevine that he wanted to go to Sturt but they weren't interested.
I think Greber has been to at least 4 (Kensi/Sturt/Uni/Port) and I think maybe ET and Woodville along the way as well (maybe just his old man?)
Agar is another I can possibly think of - Uni, Adelaide, ND and Kensi?

Its more a case of his old man thinks he's better than what he is, the former Shield cricketer Chris, quite the interesting fellow

I see the SA U19s wriggled off the hook vs Northern Jets. Were 8/144 but finished with 252. Got Dimasi out on stumps too.

Big day coming up at Uni. Southerns 4/103 at stumps chasing 183. Would be huge for them if they can put a win on the board

Glenelg strolling back to Div 1 as you'd expect. Their Bs would make finals in this comp
