It's funny, during the season I thought famous footy parents should be more like Daics and less like SOS or Luke Darcy.

Seriously revisiting this after the news the old man stormed out of the B&F

This is just about making Collingwood pay up. No one believes he would ever leave but other clubs wouldnt be doing their job if they didnt make Daicos aware of how much he could get elsewhere. Cant have him playing his whole career at Collingwood on big unders. They already gave the Pies a leg up by letting him get to pick 4

Did he storm out though or is that just the clickbait headline. There is nothing in the article that suggests he stormed out

I read the article as well, didn't really talk about him storming out, so as it is click bait season, thats probably all that it is.

I'm sure his "big unders" are still pretty decent, I couldn't see him having to buy a packet of Coles snags on his off week.

If anyone thinks Daicos is getting "unders" they really don't understand Collingwood and third party deals.

Where there's smoke...

Per Mitch Cleary:
Craig McRae says Collingwood will assess whether the Copeland Trophy currently uses the best voting system or if it’s time for a change.
Right now 5x coaches vote 0-4 for each player per game for a max of 20 votes

Clubs are probably more willing this year to trade for what they know based on what they've seen players do in the AFL system than take a punt on late pick in this year's draft when the quality past pick 40 is questionable.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
