Snoop Dogg wows fans with free concert at St Kilda’s The Espy
Snoop Dogg has performed for the first time since touching down in Australia, sharing a communal joint and giving a shout-out to the “beautiful ladies of Australia” during a free concert at Melbourne’s most iconic music pub.
“Anybody came to have a good time tonight?” he said.
“Well let me hear you say ‘well yeah’. Say f--k yeah. Say hell mother f--kin’ yeah.”

Another win by the AFL =D>

Agree as sentimental as its meant to be it really offers nothing to the game.

Common sense applied with that one.

Hopefully they adjust the interpretation on ruck contests and let them jump again.

It will go the other way imo.

With last disposal coming in between the arcs as well, we are getting to the point that rucks won't be needed, sort of like what we saw in the international rules games.

Clubs will just pick an extra big bodied mid in the near future.

Swann has said as much, said he's sick of the wrestling. Throwing the ball up after a centre bounce recall normally resulted in both rucks having a jump, as bugger standing there for an eternity whilst your opponent runs in

SANFL stats show from 2015 when the rule was introduced to 2025 average throw ins have gone from 36 to 23. We're talking 3 per quarter and that's using the whole ground not just between the arcs.

Mountain > Molehill.

It's not anywhere near the death knell for rucks - https://sanfl.com.au/league/news/sanfl- ... unds-rule/

SANFL is proof that a dominant ruck is still needed, Boyd, McAndrew, etc

Easy fix, change the interpretation that if you cross the midline to block an opposition ruck it's a free kick - similar to the tunnelling rule in the marking contest.

With the less variance in the trajectory of the throw up the need to cross the midline is going to be reduced.

It's not a hard skill to hold the ball at the mid point with one hand and roll it off the fingers so it goes straight up.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Any chance you could run some skill sessions with the CSFLUP group?

Greg Swann confirms there will be a 23-player All-Australian team next year. Five on the bench.

Also says Geelong is dealing with the Mad Monday behaviour. “We’re not thrilled and neither were Geelong.”
