I don't think it's unreasonable for fans to be disappointed the club has put us in a position where we don't have a draft hand and have a lot of list spots available given we had a lot of dead wood to move on.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

We've got ourselves into this predicament. How is it that clubs like Geelong can conitnue to be up and about without having to go through the rebuilding stage and we are always hit and miss with our recruiting/drafting/development? Even Hawthorn only spent a short period with moderate success before turning their kids into decent players and topping up with established talent along the way.

Yes, I'm bitter, the window was well and truly open but now we're not gonna be anywhere near the top 4 for a while, we've burnt trades and don't have a lot to show for it.

Melbourne CEO Paul Guerra: "We met with Christian late last week where he expressed his desire to explore a fresh start in 2026. Christian is a once in a generation player. With this in mind, any decision regarding Christian’s future will be made in the best interest of the MFC."

2 x first rounders or 1 x first and a quality player + you pay him.

Interesting deal about to be brokered.

Josh Jenkins, obviously still dealing with "that camp".

Adelaide give - Pick 14, Rachele and Pedlar for Petracca

There would be a riot at AFC if they did that trade

I just can’t see the Crows pick 14 which will blow out to nearly pick 20 being anywhere near the mark. The Suns have more to offer Melbourne

Is he really a "once in a generation player"?

2 B&Fs, 4 AAs and a Norm is bloody good, but you'd say his accolades are less than Oliver (4 B&F, 3 AA), and Gawn (3 B&F, 8 AA)
my yes be yes, my no be no

I would have settled for "very, very good, "bloody good", or even "f**ing good", but I'm drawing the line at once in a generation. I understand Melbourne want maximum return but spare me..
