Sunday
Sandy Creek

Weather was just drizzly rain for the 4.5hrs.
Missed a tiny tap in par on par 3 - 13th (started 10) i think and that just got inside my head.
Good thing handicap went out .5 to 13.5

This morning Flaggy.
Adjusted the driver again and I can't believe it, the draw has returned...
Putting was ok.
35pts

9 holes yesterday arvo

16pts.
Driver relatively straight.
16pts.
Butchered the 8th....

This morning
The Driver reverted back to a little fade.
Putting was hit n miss, as usual.
32pts.

Going to be interesting to see the changes to the handicapping system.

what happens to mid week comps next week with the app offline?

Played for the first time for 5 weeks yesterday, 27 points, pretty ordinary but knee held up OK, Vines looking in great nick and will only get better once it gets warmer

Not counted towards handicap but there will most likely be club comps based on your hcp.

Vines should be good, club champs would be soon?

31pts
21 after 9.
Nice tee shot on 13 to get a claim on the ntp.
31pts through 14.
Going swimmingly until 15th, somehow lost a ball.
16 aimed inside hazard allowing for fade. Went dead straight. Would have carried the OB but couldnt find it.
17 aimed left, pulled it, hit a tree bounced left. Probably near the path, didnt bother looking.
18 3w pulled slightly left. Went over a mound, walked past but it probably rolled in creek.
That's all folks

Off to the Yarra Valley on Friday, trying out 3 courses I’ve never played.
Will report back next week…

2024 champ, Spargo’s Good Friday Cup @ Ascot

I’ll wait for an angel, but I won’t hold my breath

yesterday morning.

the fadey slice returned with the Driver.
3w behaved itself.
added in a cleveland 4i, basically a driving iron, its purpose is when i go left into trees i can draw it around trees and back out into fairway, except for one shot it sliced on me, which i dont recall ever happening.
added in a 26yr old 5w, graphite shaft. wasnt bad, but it wont hold its spot
i found a lot of bunkers and even managed a shank out of one   straight right off the hosel.
on the 16 (5w) and 15 (D) tees, i was close to having an airy.
