Shows how weak WC list is that he’s already in our top 5 players

Dogs throwing $4m at Wilkie trying to lure him over.
Probably a good time to pounce whilst the Saints can’t increase his pay

Draper has chosen Brisbane.
Good move for both parties.
If we can manage to move on Ridley and Merrett plus another couple we can finally start a proper rebuild. Only 20 years too late of course

Starting? They traded out and in last year to get 4, 5, 22 and 25 this year and Scott admitted as much at the start of this year :

"You can say what you want. The club always talk to me about ‘what are we messaging?’ Ultimately, you message through your action," Scott said on Monday night's AFL 360.

"We made some changes at the end of last year with personnel, list, chose to go to the draft. We hold two first-round draft picks this year and two second-round draft picks – I think it’s pretty clear what you’re doing."
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

It'll be an interesting watch with Draper at the Lions.

Fagan gets frustrated with players who have football ability, can only imagine his reactions next season...

Mixed messaging from the club though unfortunately. The team he started with this year didn’t suggest a rebuild and the President saying in round 5 or 6 that finals was still an aim.
The injuries have accelerated the rebuild to some extent and I thought we did ok at the draft table last year.
This year we will most likely have picks 4,5,6 before academy bids plus a couple of our own academy kids of which one is rated around the top 20.
I’d trade out both Ridley and Merrett and see if we can get some picks for next year. We will be almost spoon certainties and could go into next years draft with 3 or 4 first rounders plus an academy kid rated top 10.
Will be plenty of pain in the next 2 years but I’d rather we try something different for once

Long way back if you trade out Merret, Draper and Ridley
Who will mentor the high draft picks coming in?
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
