Correct, I would have thought the 7 question marks made it clear that it was a post of intrigue rather than an attempt to have a crack.
And as Locky mentioned, plenty of differences in what’s being reported so I thought it was natural to have some questions, but obviously Dedja doesn’t think we should be asking anything at all.

Anyway, sorry to anyone who was offended.
I’ll look to limit asking any questions in the future, or at least word them significantly better.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with asking those questions in the manner of curiosity as you did.

I do love how these people claim the Sovcit card and don’t believe in governments but are usually on the dole and seemingly happy to collect their government issued pay cheque

My 2 cents - the words "massive cover up" let you down there. Nothing wrong otherwise your questions.

Very few of us (with one exception on this thread) know anything at all about police operations, let alone manhunts for armed maniacs. While there are naturally a lot of questions to be answered, there was nothing that suggested to me that the police were intent on covering anything up, nor that that would be anything resembling a priority while they're still hunting the offender, bearing in mind that police are generally pretty sensitive about revealing details, providing access to crime scenes, in the hours or days following a tragic crime.

I trust that the police are doing all they can to bring the shooter to justice.

Again, my 2 cents etc...

Yeah the no fly zones over the house were the bit that made we wonder what was being hidden.
Sure, while there is an active siege going on, a no fly zone makes sense, but to divert flight paths days after the event seem strange.

Add in the false reports (hostages, then confirmed not the case, etc) and the wording of my queries was probably over the top.

Anyway, all good.

That’ll cover the increase in council rates, water rates and insurances (normally building and renters)

Estimated at $500 a week that’s $2600 for the year. Those three together would take a fair chunk of that

No offence was taken, i can imagine the frustration, probably only thing that got my fat backside up was the words cover up, rest was fine and questions lots were asking, as i said media didnt help with 2 channels in particular miles apart in what they were reporting

Yes, that's why I said in the comments about 1 in 20. Unlikey to be 5% through the population.

With social media, not only can they get out there more with their message and views, but it allows them to link up with other like-minded people.

Managing Foxtel pricing.

Have to do a price negotiation dance every year, which usually involves a call to disconnections to get their attention, and then the random price increases in between,

Had to call disconnections today to waive a $5 price increase after only doing the dance 6 months ago.

The disparity of what people pay for the same packages is as much as 100% :Hangman:

That said, I prefer Foxtel on satellite a billion times more than the equivalent streaming services, and it only costs me a tad more if I keep my dancing shoes on.

Boohoo!
Thats their responsibility, not mine to pay. Thats the privilege/responsibility of buying owning a rental.
