Victorian police are involved, they'd be paying $1.01 on this outcome

The traditional mishap is to "fall down the stairs" back at the watchhouse. Even if it's single story.

Similar to that guy in the US a few years back who ambushed and murdered two cops.

The cops caught up with him and gunned him down. In the investigation that followed they found 895 shell cases. The investigators asked Why did you fire that amount to which the Police Captain replied “We only had 895 bullets”

So what's actually happened here?

10 officers roll in, including specialists, to a guy known to have guns.
He shoots 3 of them, grabs two of their guns and then just walks off?

And the cops are saying the guy ambushed them?
The cops have subsequently put an exclusion zone over the property, no flights or drones allowed.

Sounds like the police have knocked on the door, and when he's shot a couple of them, the rest have run for cover. This has allowed him to approach the bodies and grab the guns, and then also leave the property without any oversight from the remaining officers? And now they've put up a no-fly zone so the media can't get drone footage of the property and work out what's actually happened?

Terrible that 2 people are now dead, but why the massive cover up?
Did the other cops even discharge their weapons or just run for cover and left their mates to die?

And the world wide differences between the media stories is unbelievable

Gutter journalism at its best

Probably 10 attended the matter at hand, would have 3 go to the bus and the other 7 were probably there in different roles such as a search team, exhibits officer, scribe etc as they were there for a search.

They were probabloy waiting elsewhere waiting to be called in as it was the third officer shot that raised the alarm

Dont think there is any cover up, as i said media were spreading so many far fetched stories that were totally different to each other .

I'm sure the last thing the Police would have had on their minds was telling the public of how things occurred, was a matter of getting the town closed down and everyone to safety.

It will all come out in the wash eventually
