Talk on the national game

AFL Round 23

I reckon GWS beat the Suns today. They’ll keep King in check and so they won’t have enough goal scoring power.

Huge game next week with the Bulldogs play Freo in what may be a spot in the finals.

No Hogan or Stringer for GWS makes it hard for them.

Frankie goes to Hollywood and McKay doing a number on Port

And how good is Sam Walsh
We’ve missed him big time
Arguably our most important player

Where’s the review?

I know Port are banged up and missing players but they were pretty ordinary today.
Carlton played some of their best and most direct footy this year.
McKay having a day out and kicking straight.
Walsh is so important to us and he slipped straight back in helping out Cripps who had one of his better games this year
20+ possessions and kicked 2
Hewett has really stepped up this year(probably the only one who has) and was probably our best with McKay.
Weitering did as Weitering does and was good as usual

We definitely need an outside ball user or two(like most teams).
Need to keep TDK
Not fussed if we lose SOS
McGovern needs to be given a 1 year contract(2 if he plays hard ball).
Saad needs a kick in the arse but also someone who can help him with run and carry off half back
A classy wingman who can deliver inside 50 would be good also(Camporeales might be that but not in the next 2-3 years)

Wasted year for the Blues!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Sweet was very good for Port

Whitlock looked alright, three years time will be very good

Boak still a star, Wines ok.

Ollie Lord on the other hand, what does he offer other than a big mouth?
