A-League @ Adelaide Oval

Postby Sam_goUUUdogs » Thu Nov 08, 2007 9:51 pm

Only somewhat a cricket matter.
But how are the SACA going to have a One Day game at Adelaide Oval on the 23rd of Dec, a Soccer match on the 28th of Dec, and a 20/20 match on the 1st of Jan?
What will happen with the pitch?

The little diddums widdums soccer players will just have to coat their knees in friars after teh game, will clean up the grazes no worries.

if they don't dive they wont graze their knees anyway...

Pretty sure SACA members will get a letter about tickets by the 30th of November, i know there is a promotion with the general public for a ticket that gets you entry to the A-league and the 20/20

Les will do a HUGE watering regime using recycled water of course, and get the pitch to be like it is during foty season. They will then do a huge dry out and get the pitch ready for the 20/20. Les can do it !!

Tassie, should get there and enjoy the WORLD game ! You may enjoy it, and I will arrange for a meet and get you a beer !
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

I dont care if the oval rips the soccer players legs off, its the sprig marks on the pitch that concerns me more.

People all over the world buy millions of Julio Iglesises albums but that doesn't make it shit. When you're brought up watching some of the hardest contact sports around like Australian Rules Football, Rugby League and Rugby Union you find it impossible to warm to a game where grown men fall on the ground and cry like a bunch of girls. Soccer = SOFT!!
