St George home ground with the hillside at square leg and the trees lean over on the otherside what a fantastic ground to play cricket on

Played on some pretty small primary school ovals over the years where any mishit would clear the infield and at times clear the boundary.

I found the Albert Park grounds in Melbourne nice to play on, apart from one game where facing Joe Dawes (played a number of games for Queensland) on a green top and very humid conditions.

If you liked a pitch that didn't offer much bounce and you could plonk your front foot down the pitch was Arden St (North Melbourne).

Punt Rd (Richmond) beautiful surroundings, outfield like a bowling green and the pitch perfect.

very good ground indeed, including the turf practice wickets.
I however only subbed on this glorious oval once, my career was confined to the (Ingle Farm) Primary School- that wicket had "movement" in it!
I did however clear the boundary a few times there- one straight down the ground, well over the boundary was my highlight.

Would always say that Adelaide Oval is the best ground where I have been involved in a match. Also did enjoy St Peters College No. 1 Ground where I participated in my two one-dayers for Australia (Australian Women's team, mind you! *grins*). Parkinson Oval at Kensington is very scenic and our home ground at Henley is great to be at too.
