I wouldn't trust Freo to not lose to the bye this week, let alone top 4...

I just think they're the most likely to get on a roll, they have no clear deficiencies, I dont like Ryan though, just a stat padder, maybe when Young comes back he plays half back

Thats probably why i dont like him, been burnt way too many times, if you own him he'll put out a 55 when you need him and when you dont own him he'll pump out a 160, maybe its highlighted more because often they are the last game of the round

Biggest losing margin is 19 points though

Crows need to beat 1 of either Brisbane or Collingwood & 2 of either Bulldogs, Hawthorn or Gold Coast & not lose any games to teams outside the top 9 (except maybe the showdown) to be even thought of as contenders.

Hence why I left them out of this comment: I dont see Dogs as premiership material compared to Collingwood, Brisbane or Geelong

I actually dont see them as contenders yet but do see them getting into the 4 which, in my table, is the "Contender" list (ie) Contenders means Top 4 (why didn't I just call them that?)

Seeing Pickett has spent the last two years wrapped in trade speculation there's 9 more years of will he / won't he coming at us.

Lever went there on big coin, could imagine May would be on a good wicket too.

No wonder they can't buy a decent forward.

And Jackson wants to head back there too.
No first rounder this year and no cap space so will be interesting to see how it unfolds

Not sure Lever's current deal would be as big as the one that drew him over from Adelaide.

He left in 2017 on reports of $800k, that was a 4 year deal (18/19/20/21) . He had a contract that then locked him in until the end of 2024 (signed in 21) but in 2023 signed a 4 year extension to the end of 2028.

I doubt he's still on that money. ($800k)
