Thanks.

I have two echoes of the first year, never thought about them being sold. Just sitting in a cupboard

That’s a lot for a carton.

A carton sold in 2018 for $130 so I'd think well over $200 now.

I'm still waiting for my 2004 Premiership carton to be worth more than what I paid for it at the time.

I recall sitting with a mate in the late 90's laughing about how long Duff beer was going to last while we were downing a carton, we both mentioned about buying one to keep! D'oh!!

I went to an O-week show at Adelaide Uni & they only served Duff cans, the quad nearest the Torrens was covered in crushed cans by the end of the night

All the training comes together at Beer and BBQ tomorrow night.

I'm thinking ribs, dark ales and maybe an Old Fashioned to round out the frothy, frosty night.

I'm cranking the smoker on Sunday for a surprise birthday for my estranged son.

2 briskets, 5 sets of shorties, 1.5 kg of pork belly diced into burnt ends in a plum rub and a smoked pineapple.

I have a 2.5kg boneless lamb that I might weberise or watch spin around on a spit while I'm at it, or grab a couple of lamb shoulders to smoke too.

I'll start on the Peroni's then move on to a bottle of Aviation Gin that I have then move on to a nice drop of cab sav to see me out.

He's 27 but I'll get a number 3 candle for his cake given that it's the 3rd birthday he's had since we've caught up.

8th of July 2022 the hole in my heart was filled.

Glad to hear he's no longer estranged, mate.

Must be something in the air, I'm planning a lamb in the weber/cab sav or merlot night on Sunday.

Cheers, yeah, we're really close now, he's never shy in telling me he loves me when we part ways after a catch up, he went away with my other kids last weekend to celebrate my eldest daughters 30th, life is good.

There will be plenty of stupid comments and payouts in the air Sunday arvo

My boys are all early to mid twenties and there's always a heap of laughs when they're all together!

Got introduced to merlot by my old man, funnily enough, when I was about 18 years old. Grant Burge, from memory
