It does. Like a different course without the travel
The 2nd hole I drove it to 30m short of green. Normally I'm about 150m out.
The 5th again drove it well and was 40m short. Normally it's 150ish
7th is just a chip over - managed to not hit it and it landed in a spot where the dam cuts in a fraction and goes halfway down to water:lol:
8th is a straight drive and is quite forward.

12th - gives you a chance to clear the bunkers
13th - plays 100m
14th played 129ish
16th you can cut the corner easier 8)
17th is a little tricky - driver - like mine will run through fairway into rubbish. Smart play is just to dink an iron upto the corner and hopefully get a look at green
18th - again its a long way forward

If you have a rough idea on your distances with clubs you can punch it into chatgpt and ask it for a plan around courses....
Playing Kooyonga next week and it says I'll have 93.
I'll have a blow up on hole 13  I'm tipping there might be more than 1 blowout

But it's interesting to see how it interprets how the round should play out.

Played South Course at North Adelaide yesterday, first time in 20 years I think!

Get there to find the greens have been cored and sanded over in the last 2-3 weeks, strange time of year to do that.

30 points and 94 off the stick, 7 pars but too many doubles/triples, big gap between my best and worst.

What was course like? Walking past yesterday to go to Adelaide Oval it looked average.

If they think will be ready for LIV in couple of years they are kidding themselves. Reckon take way more than 50 million!

Think Grange are in perfect bargaining power to get what they want from LIV and the Government as only club that can hold it and they will look silly otherwise!

Fairways were good, I like the way they have cut the kikuyu very low so it isn't spongy at all and you could get good roll off the tee. The rest was pretty ordinary, not sure Ill be rushing back.

They are going to have to pretty much completely redo the course, way too many 320-340m par 4's which the pro's will eat up, only good holes are the ones that have some elevation on the hill. It will be interesting as Im guessing they wont be able to touch too many trees..the architects are going to have some challenges.

Kooyonga today

All anxiously following the radar.
Started on the back 9.
Get to the 1st green and BANG. Smashed by hail.
Interesting to putt over hail stones

Course itself is in good condition. So much run up around the greens which was hard to adapt too.
Couple of times used the 7w to success around the greens. Now that I've seen it I'd like to play it again, and in slightly better weather

Driver was ok.
Irons average
Putting ok

Had 94 off the stick

Havent played there in a few years, good mate of mine used to be a greenkeeper and got us on after work a few times and then I worked with a member.

Do they still encourage you to take your buggy over the greens? They used to prefer that than wear out the green surrounds. Always felt very weird.

What about the no mobile phone rule? Have they embraced MIScore now?

Our briefing from the club didn't mention the buggy over greens.
And played as part of a social group who use another app for scoring.

There was a plan from a possible redesign from 2018 floating around. Meant taking over most of the North course for space, combining a heap of holes to lengthen them out and things like that. Norman would have his ideas but without cutting down a heap of trees as you said any redesign is going to be limited in what it can do.

Playing at Mawson Lakes on Saturday arvo…

Haven’t played since the first week of April and is was as if I’d never played before.

Not expecting much at all, maybe a regulation 28 points, seems to be my usual score every time I play… :(

Never played at Mawson Lakes before so will be interesting…

There's a poster who could give you a detailed hole by hole plan.
Might include drinks at the Woolshed after

weekend was quite diabolical.
Driver had a little fade. played to that and went ok. but everything else was just ordinary.
nothing worse than trying a little tweak on the course and just crumbling under the pressure
