I do realise that I'm in a different field here but I really like KP too, I admired blokes that would stand up to the Aussies when we were at our pinnacle, the bloke had balls and he held his own many times when those around him fell to pieces. We were very arrogant during them years and I respected those that gave it back.................especially in the scorebook.

Next ball "BANG" away the ball sailed over the houses.

This is one of my favourite Viv stories:

In a county match in England, Greg Thomas was bowling to Richards and getting a few past the bat. After Richards played and missed another one, Thomas said: "It's red, it's round. Now f***ing hit it!" This obviously got Richards fired up, who then proceeded to hit the next ball out of the ground and said to Thomas, "You know what it looks like, now go and get it."

Mo, one of the greatest gong beaters that ever drew a breath.

Met him as a 10 year old kid at a cricket clinic. Signed my bat, then we got a pic with him.

He insisted at saying "Sex", instead of cheese, with every photo that he took at a clinic with about 4 primary schools in attendance .

If I heard one mum say "WAFW" after their photo op, I would have heard a hundred!

He would've thought he was hilarious too!

No doubt he'd have a tiny pecker.

100%, the shit-eating grin on his face after he'd said it each time and each mum had tut tutted under their breath was nauseating.

He's more fake than his plastic hair.

Never understood the Botham hate, other than him being a brilliant cricketer.

Met him a couple of times at sportsmens events whilst the Ashes were on and he seemed a really down to earth kind of guy. Very honest but also the kind of bloke you could disagree with on a subject but still have a beer with.

Dare i say it almost had an aussie attitude, played cricket hard, happy to get in a few verbal's, but was more than happy to have a beer after the game. Was very confident but never got the impression of being too cocky or arrogant off the field.

Maybe not a great example but was very similar to KP who i met at an Adelaide nightclub back in the day. Essentially i was at the front row of a packed nightclub bar and my 5ft 4 build was not attracting the bar lady down to our end of the bar. KP politely tapped me on the shoulder and asked if he could jump in front of me as he would get served straight away and to do so he would buy me and my mate the beer we were after. Sure, enough i say yeah 'deal' expecting him to not hold his end of the bargain. He goes to the front and immediately the bar lady comes down sure enough he buys the drinks he needed and then also grabs ours. Passes me my drink, slips me a few extra 'drink cards' and has a few minute chat about whether we play cricket or not and how's it going.

Gavaskar
Smith S it was the last position i filled, found it tough but he picks himself in this position
Labuschagne
Ganguly
Craig MacMillan
Ranatunga
Bairstow
Broad
Harbajan
Ashwin
Murali

Honourable mentions
Swan
Trott
Haddin

Post career additions
Cronje
Ian Chappell- last 10 years

Anderson- not considered, you need to be rated before you can be hated

This is obviously an 11 for an Indian dustbowl as the most hated 11 needs to play on the most hated pitch

The hot take is Murali, i cant stand him, they should never have changed the rules to allow him to participate. Warne should be alone at the top as the greatest test bowler to ever play the game, shouldnt have to put up with Asian muppets saying Murali was a better bowler because he took more wickets, theyre not even close.

Not 100% sure what an XI would look like from me, but it would include Andre Nel and Sreesanth.
