I’m in two minds on this one.

Ross Pelligra isn’t short of a dollar, but took on the Lightning then decided he didn’t want to anymore. Then the WNBL ownership changes blurred things.

So the State Govt is effectively bailing out a mega multi-millionaire. Who knows, there may be some behind the scenes development kickbacks in the bailout, we’ll probably never know.

That said, no good to women’s basketball in this state would happen if they folded.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

I'm not convinced he's not short of a dollar.

Promised grand ideas for the Basketball stadium the Pelligra Group purchased, yet the building has no major tenants and not used for events. Think the Northern suburbs are still waiting for the much publicised replacement for the Thebarton ice arena that has been on its last legs allegedly for the past 20 years.

Seems to go missing unless public money is involved as well.

I read this piece last year which was very good (unusual for The Conversation)
https://theconversation.com/ambulance-r ... rly%202024.

Its a big worry here with Calvary City full up a lot of the time as well
On the other hand St Andrews has shut down wards because it either hasn't got the staff or cant afford them
Not good for the elderly especially

There is a way to dramatically reduce ramping but governments haven't got the zugots

Picton always surprised me, he seemed like he is an intelligent person but really he's a complete ****.

Vincent has finally hit a few runs with the water bills increasing. I am starting to see some attention in this area and its one that's getting some hits finally. The problem is that he hasn't been able to land anything else.

So what does he have to work with that the government has done poorly:
- Ambulance ramping
- Healthcare capacity
- Northern Areas development - we are literally trucking shit down the freeway.

Plenty to work with, he needs ro score a few here.

SA Water are spending $1.2B over the next 4 years to help fix this ... also one of the main reasons bills are going up.

Even Jesus and Moses can’t help him now.

You thought the Federal Liberal Party just got smashed, it will be nothing compared to the spanking the Libs will get here.
