Besides Brisbane and possibly Geelong (not counting GC yet), I cannot remember a year where the gulf between the best and worst from each side is so great.

Its the whole 1% off rule of thumb.

Doesnt take much these days for a team to be off, nevermind the strategic nature of the game which i think sees certain styles, match ups just operate better against certain opposition.

It's good to watch.

Whilst the quality of games and dare i say the constant rules changes make many games hard to watch in their entiritiy most games have a sense of excitement beforehand with the outcome genuinely unknown.

It’s footy……. Teams are rarely as good as they look during and easy win and rarely as bad as look when they put in a stinker..
