Not sure Richard Williams did Port too many favours over the years
A touch of Laurie Argent about him

Midday start?? I wonder if the SANFL has done any research on how the impact early starts has had on crowd numbers. Starting at 12/12:30 surely makes it very difficult for families with any sort of morning sporting commitments to attend.

Both AFL sides playing this afternoon, plus the election, so probably decided that hardly anyone would want to go anyway, especially considering the vast majority of those who followed the previously named Magpies have abandoned them.

That said, a direct clash with Port at Ballarat doesn’t make much sense though, so probably should have started at the usual time.

No, Monty Python's Flying Circus TV series episode where the blancmange turns people into Scotmen so they all emigrate to Scotland so there's no-one left to defeat the blancmange at the Wimbledon Tennis tournament. .

Meanwhile, at the real game, there were about 960 or so real supporters at the game (ref Sun Mail). I think of those, there were about 6 Port supporters. Those watching on Tv to see the AFL port should have come down and seen a slighly less beating.
