I had it once at Mr Micks @ Clare and it was sensational, I can't remember what I had though.
I have some ready to cook up this evening but I'm trying to work out the perfect recipe.

My daily run entailed going past a low budget looking Indian place that produced the most awesome scents, I had a decent win on the punt one day so I decided to grab a few dishes to see what I liked, the food is immaculate.
The're Vindaloo was really spicy (got banned by the GF as it was too hot).
Rogan Josh was on point.
Her and pretty much every Western woman's favourite "Butter Chicken" is superb, we ask for it to be a bit spicy.
I can't go past their Beef Madras though, it hits the spot.
Their Cheese and Garlic Naan is great too, especially at $3.50.
I do cheat though, I cook my own rice once I've ordered the mains.

It’s becoming more difficult to find an authentic vindaloo these days, most are now watered down versions of the real thing.
Faark, even the late Bombay Bicycle Club succumbed to the trend a while back and toned their curries down.

I reckon it was The Bowden Hill Tavern at one stage too IIRC

Isn't that what they call the tavern area? Always been the Ovingham I reckon.

Before it was the Bombay Bicycle Club it was The Bowden Hill Tavern I think. (I was seeing a barmaid there at the time)
