I've always thought showdowns etc. are wasted in Round 1/Final Round.

Agreed, it’s a dumb suggestion Bedge

WA would never allow a Derby elsewhere

Went to Norwood on Sunday for StK v GWS.

Had my 7yo son with me so didn’t want to stand up in sun all day. Arrived about an hour before the bounce and managed to nab two of the last seats in the stand. View along the Woods Street wing was obscured though by the function room.

I can understand why some would complain about parking, but I don’t mind a 15-20 min walk so it wasn’t such a big deal.

Line ups for food and drinks seemed to flow pretty well.

For a packed stadium the atmosphere was fairly tame. Obviously a lot of ‘neutral’ observers, and others who just wanted to sink $11 beer cans and update their Instagram. Last year Norwood was full of Richmond supporters so had a different feel. This year’s game was a much better spectacle though.

Did remind me of going to watch Norwood v Port games there in the early 90s with my dad. The chairs haven’t gotten any more comfortable over those decades haha..

Great PR for the state, asking visitors to catch the train to Noarlunga Centre. Might as well play the other game at Elizabeth…

Could offer free tickets to those who survive the Triple Challenge
- Train to Noarlunga Centre
- Pint at the Colonnades Tavern
- Walk across the Colonnades car park to ground

-Tassie would be very difficult with the ferry ect plus what 150k tourists at once. Would Tassie have the accommodations to cater for all of that once??

-Western Australia will make a play but what's really achieved from moving it from SA where it is a boom success, plus we are much closer for all fans to travel to. WA wouldn't get close to the travelling numbers we see

The only real possible changes would be to a NSW or QLD under the whole growing the game concept. A 42k capacity at the GABBA holds back Queensland in my opinion.

The locals don’t go to games currently in Brissie or Sydney so why the hell would they attend nuetral games?
