Surely you have someone better to park on a back flank...

Went back to the old gameplan of kick it without looking instead of breaking the lines in that last q and it was easily cleared by Geelong defenders. Was it the heat of last week and a 5 day break? might have something to do with it but that's footy and the schedule so prepare during the week accordingly.
Another one that got away.

Very good player that wasn’t at his best last night.
I’d be aiming at Milera and Scholl before him.

Could open the door for someone else.
They’ll still need Keays then …

Don't blame him once again the umpiring was baffling!
The mark on the boundary which was imo the man in fronts kick. The umps got a great view and he gives it to the man behind.
It was either play on or a crows mark. No excuses for that shite decision.

There was a passage of play last night where Worrell was awarded a free kick then immediately tried to play on but wasn't behind the mark. The umpire blew their whistle and stopped him and asked him to go back behind his mark. When he was told to do that he stuck his arms out in reaction to it. Watching it I thought does Worrell not know the rules or is it a habit of his to react like that when an umpire blows the whistle/makes a decision.wenchbarwer wrote:tigerpie wrote:wenchbarwer wrote:I was tempted to start a drinking game, a shot for every time Worrell stuck out his hands at an umpiring decision.

Nah, he does it at every bloody whistle, does my head in.
Agree though, it was man in front or ball up.

The man in front mark, while an appalling decision, how was it not 50 for remonstrating? 4 players threw the toys out, rightly so I might add but is that another rule like the protected zone that is gone?

That was rule of the month some time back in 2024, "Not 15, play on!" is clearly in vogue now. Can't wait to see what the focus is come finals time!
