Took some work colleagues from Europe to the Port game courtesy of St Kilda (we sponsor them). First Port game I’ve been too.
Didn’t expect it to be such a great day out!

Agree, Aliir was very good, reads the play well, just didn’t get much help back there.

Praising a Port player? I didn't think you had it in you! With the amount you post about Port I reckon you've gone past Amber Fluid as SA Footy's biggest closet Port fan.

I better lift me game…………

A worry for Port is a lot went right for them but they still couldnt get the win.

-JHF played his best game for the year and was elite.
-Butters was back with 30 possessions
-Georgiades and Lord combined for 9 shots on goal, great return from the two big guys.
-Marshalls impact restricted by Sweet.
-Aliir back to his intercepting best.

Got bullied around the contest in the first quarter & exposed out the back with next to no pressure on the Saints when they were transitioning in that first quarter. Dominated the game after that but playing catchup & then had that 5 min lapse in the 2nd where they kicked 3 quick ones in the same manner. Nothing better than your season being over after the first month!

Obligatory "Go Saints" post. Walking out of AO a winner made a refreshing change to visits over the past decade..

Hard at the ball all day. Won the clearances, nice use of hands in tight, and we have same dash. Held our nerve when the tide appeared to be going the other way on a couple of occasions. Plenty to like for a team most pundits had bottom four.

Port were their own worst enemy at times.
SAFC- 60 years...
StKFC- 58 years..
