Was a great hit out with some good ball movement, Elizabeth ended up being to strong and winning by 40 odd points, little bit of anger got the best of one of the para hills boys who was red carded and reported for striking. Did notice there was cameras there recording, will be interesting to see what comes from this

Don't think anything will come of the card, wasn't much in it at all would be surprised if there was a suspension.

In terms of the game, thought it was a pretty solid contest played in good spirits. Elizabeth had control for most of the day and look much improved on last years efforts (lol)

If there's one thing I love about Mitchell Park it's our ability to keep it real and not take it all that seriously. Never ceases to crack me up how club people in the dizzying lofty heights of Div I dunno 5? Of the Adelaide Footy League somehow think they're gods gift to football.

Unfortunately we're also equal bottom too

Same green with red and white V - like Port, but we'll be looking to update to keep the colours consistent

Might not be everyones cup of tea but at least when you drive past an oval and look to see who is playing we cant be confused with 17 other teams

Early days with only one game.. but it's been mentioned before over the years - the gaps between the clubs in D7 appear to be widening, as is the gap between D6 and D7.

How long can D7 remain a viable option?

Could we see C/D grade sides return to D7 like days past?
Could we see D7 absorbed into the C grade divisions like the old D9S / D9N / D10S / D10N days?

Lowest winning margin of 84 points on the weekend in what I thought would've been a competitive match.

D7 seems to be where clubs bottom out and then have two choices.
1: Go through a year or two rebuild and attack D6 with vigour and intent.
2: Not spend and be content with being competitive with the bottom half of the table.

Generally teams that are demoted to D7 have been well off the pace in D6 so require a fair bit of soul searching to do, Greenacres, Ingle Farm and Para Hills have all used their time in D7 well over recent years, the success that came of it has held them in good steed moving forward.

The top 4 seems already set for this year and I think a ten team comp works best, even if it's C & D grades of the stronger clubs.
