(I don't think Ive mentioned it on here throughout the 24/25 season ), it's because the reconditioned Kookaburra Ball has a reinforced seam and has extra lacquer on it allowing the ball to stay 'newer' for longer and keep swinging for longer. Add in the more bowler friendly pitches having more grass left on them and you have more and more matches like this one.
