Well lucky for you it will be QLD if my points calculations are correct.

Looks like it. Unless NSW pull off some miracle, QLD now have enough bonus points (provided they end in a draw with us) to hold off WA or Vic even if one of those win

Think your maths might be off.
QLD currently lead WA by 2.35 points and VIC by 4.31
6 points for a win
1 point for a draw
Then bonus points.
A VIC or WA win would have them in

Jimmy Peirson FC record v opponents

SA - avg. 49 (2 centuries/8 fifties)
Tasmania - avg. 36 (2/4)
NSW - avg. 35 (2/3)
Victoria - avg. 26 (0/4)
WA - avg. 19.6 (0/2)

Technically his best opponent average-wise is the West Indies - scored 64 in his only innings.

However, he really took a shine to Sri Lanka A - 3 innings, 3 red-inkers, 208 runs @infinity, best 128*.

WA or NSW can pip them with a win. VIC can only pip them if they win AND SA beat QLD. They are 5.27 points ahead of VIC now after bonus points given this game. QLD are receiving 1.96 bonus points, VIC, NSW and WA all only got 1.

Does mean that this game will need to go on a bit longer now. Can’t just call it off early.

QLD can make it ?
What if SA declares and QL chase down a target - then QLD make it ?

QLD only need a draw to make it if Victoria win and NSW lose.

VIC can only get into the final if they win and QLD lose
NSW need 460 to win today, very doubtful, so you'd say they are out
WA need to win, and QLD to lose or draw
QLD can lose or draw and make it, provided WA & VIC draw (NSW obv out already)

VIC not really going for it by declaring, looks like they are thinking that QLD wont lose with SA batting again

SA v QLD it will be

NSW making a fist of it, on a road too, will we see why Konstas is our latest test keeper?

WA will mow down the Vics, 340 to win off 69 overs, 9 wickets in hand, Bancroft and Cartwheel to ton up.
