International ODIs

Postby Jim05 » Thu Feb 27, 2025 9:39 am

And the Poms have been bragging for months that Archer and Wood will terrorise in the Ashes this year.
Both are gassed after 4 overs, can’t wait to see them over back to back tests in an Aussie summer.
Archer’s heartstring would already be twitching at the thought

It's also a concern for us as maybe Afghanistan are better than we give them credit for?

The one thing that ODI's present is that they can still be won single-handedly, Zadran's heroics got them over the line against England. Fortunately for us we have more players capable of doing so.

We only beat them last time because of one of those heroics you speak of, Maxwell's innings. Winner plays in semi, loser out. Not going to be easy

Great timing by Labor to yesterday call for Afghanistan to be banned by the ICC.
Will CA take the high moral ground or do they only do that when it’s not a major comp?

How bout these politicians keep their noses out of sports, who are we to deny the Afghan cricketers a chance to play us or anyone on the world stage. The individuals in the Afghan line up just want to play cricket
