Mt osmond
Course starting to look a little dry.
Very slow.... 3.75hrs for 12 holes  that helped severely pull an interest muscle.
Strangely those in pro shop don't seem to care about how slow it is

Played Streaky Bay last week, we played a 4 club challenge as we didn't all have room to pack the full bag, for a place that is basically desert they have done a great job with the course, fairways are struggling but they do water them and the greens are slow but do the job and are better than scrapes, its an interesting 9 hole lay out, shot 49 and 16 points.

Back home and got out for 9 with my lads at Thaxted on Tuesday, had an eagle putt on the 1st, reckon its at least 5 years since Ive had one of them, of course I 3 putted for par. Anyway played very solid and shot 39 for 23 points, more importantly rolled my sons, eldest hit 41 so was a bit filthy. He will get me soon but Im enjoying holding it off for a little bit :)

Vines for 18 tomorrow.

Twilight.

Back 9

10th - sliced into trees, probably on 18th. Quick walk through on the way to next tee. Lost ball.
Baffler off tee on 11 and 12 was delightful.
Horrible efforts on rest of the round.
16, aimed for trees just inside the hazard thinking that I've sliced my driver for best part of a month 99% of the time and had a draw so went further left
17 - driver, teed up. Aimed middle of trees on right. Pulled it marginally, went gun barrel straight just inside the tree on the right, but that was goneski, would have run through the fairway
18 - driver, teed up. Aimed middle of trees on right. Again pulled it and it went gun barrel straight. One of the lads measured it, not sure why. 238m. I was more impressed with the next shot. 3w. Left it 60m short of green. Absolutely flushed it.

84 at the Vines this arvo, for 44 points, never broken 90 there so very happy. Finally started to hit my irons well, just put the ball back a touch in my stance and seems to have worked. Only downside is Ive finally joined there and this is my first card for my GA h'cap!!!!

The 9th is now temporarily the 1.5 hole between 1st and 2nd hole.

9i little chip n run in on 2nd and 3rd. Narrowly missed a couple others.
27putts for the day   little technique change in keeping eyes/head down rather than letting the eyes chase the ball.

Wirrina tomorrow.

On 16, it was all about not going left into OB because I knew I was going alright. So sliced into trees and had to punch back sideways.
17 a 5 is a win. Just don't like the left to right angle of the hole.
18th was just a big push with Driver that ended 30m on front 10th green. Awkward lie for the 3w 2nd shot and hit it nowhere. Good 3rd shot with 3w.
Then had 120m to the hole, but had to hit it between the trees down the path. Took 6i. Was beautiful, then it hit a branch or something as it was running along and kicked straight left.

Just couldn't get anything going, with any club.
21 pts

Today
Off the first, topped the driver
Managed to get some respectability back.
Driver went more straight today than the fade / slice.
Putting was ok.
33pts

Played last night for exactly the same result as above, helps the GA, :D putter was dead cold, Driver bounced back 5/7 fairways which is incredible for me.

Played West Lakes for the first time on Friday, beautiful little track, Very much enjoyed it.

Also helps that i won the day. ;)

A lot of bunkers, but with that being said they actually have sand in them, which helps,

18 holes this morning
Fairly average.
Just couldn't get anything going.
Putting was ordinary.
23pts

Twilight
18pts
Used Driver once on 17 and got away with it.
Used 3w off the tee and was consistent. Might have to look at getting the Driver in the Q10
Short game was better.
Putting was good.
