Alot of these country lads would still prefer to play in a more traditional club environment than play for Uni. I'm pretty sure Walkerville has done OK over the years with recruiting Uni students that have moved from the country. And it's not as though these lads are all A grade footballers. The APPS system has probably negatively affected Adelaide Uni more than any other AdFL club.

Thoughts behind this?
Athelstone, Brighton, Goodwood, Finders Park might have something to say about that.

Interesting that you included Brighton, the recent article with their new head coach seemed to be more about stabilsation and trying to fix the link with their juniors. Don't watch them as much as I used to but it seems they still lack height, made worse with Sigal going to North Adelaide.
Goody Saints were proof last year that coming down from D1 doesn't automatically assumes you'll be a force in D2. They have a lot more depth than Brighton but struggled at times last year.

TBH I haven't seen them a lot either. THEY beat some decent teams and Drew with Districts last season so obviously have some quality. Maybe their height as you mentioned, and some consistency may be lacking. I still think they will be ok.

Yep fair question. For the record the 6 teams you have listed are my top 6 but putting that out there in January will only bite me on the ass.
Henley - Undefeated season and as dominant as you could want to be in a Div 3 comp winning all 3 GF's very comfortably.
They have added some more talent. 7 to be exact. They continue to get an influx of WAFC players and the big in for me is Beuchner who is a big boy from the Ponderosa to add to their embarrassment of riches. A former Div 1 Premier and they look primed to have a proper crack at it in 2025.
TTG - At times very good last year and as per recent years in the mix for div 1 finals last year until injuries hit. They don't tend to spend too much time in div 2 and again a recent enough Div 1 Premiership winner knows what need to be done. Big Tickets will give first use and their new look mifdfield will have grown together to become better in 2025.
2 very big ins - Dylan Weaver from Centrals and some bloke called McKay who apparently goes alright.
Forums were quiet so i thought I'd throw up my prediction. Nothing is certain in pre-season but that's where i think it might land in September.

Henley were very good last year and they had to. It’s a massive jump from Div 3 to 2 so Henley had to improve their list. Some big ins.
From what I have heard both Broadbents won’t be playing this year. Matt has a role at North I believe and Tim may pull boots on in the C’s
My only concern with Henley is they don’t have a real dominant ruckman and against the better Div 2 sides that may go against them. Defensively they will be elite. Question marks over their mids and fwds. They will be around the mark but my tip would be Flinders Park v TTG
