And it was the other forum favourite out shining him.

George Garton, the left arm bowler who played for the Strikers and continuely bowled short and was expensive playing for the Thunder.

Tom Andrews has bowled well for the Thunder after been picked straight from Port in grade cricket.

And Wes Agar's hair cut reminds me of Don Mattingly in the Simpson's.

Yeah, rinse and repeat.

Show glimpses early on, fall in a hole in the middle, look like world beaters leading up to the finals to give us some false hope only to fail miserably when it counts again. At least we're used of it and can celebrate the good moments.

Haven’t watched much BBL at all this year as I’ve been busy but I watched last night’s game and also watching tonight.
Short and Maxwells innings are as good as any I’ve seen.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Here tonight

Don’t think I’ve seen a Strikers win live since 2017

Knew they weren’t going to be strong when we’ve picked the sh!ttier Manenti

This is why people are critical of younger players - I would imagine 19-20 years olds can only remember the BBL being around; if not, the state based T20 comp would be their earliest memories. So Peake, instead of doing what he was doing before and just rotates/gives strike back to JFM conventionally, goes for the ramp. He misses, then goes for an aggresive stroke and is bowled. Classic T20 batting behavior.
