Re: 2024-25 NBL Season
Went along Saturday night to my first 6ers game at the Ent Cent.
Good product on display, lots of hype for the kids, lots of plastic clappers to piss off the Dads, food and drink not too rude ( CC and Dry $15 the stand out rudeness ) and other than the display from the under manned 6ers a good night out. Would go again.

If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

I went Saturday night too.
Been to every home game so far this year(haven’t done that in 15 years).
Getting beer and food is so easy and reasonably priced as you mentioned(compared to AO anyway).
Atmosphere wasn’t as good Saturday night without the big fella Harrell but still a good crowd once again.
A tick under 10,000.
Get along if you haven’t already as it’s a good night out.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Re: 2024-25 NBL Season
Former colleague of mine had season tickets.
Used them once a while back.
They do a good job of creating a party like atmosphere.
The cheerleaders are very talented.

With DJ not playing we were always going to struggle.
Get DJ and Harrell back next game and season is back on track

That was definitely a turning point.
Watching Cotton live he is so good.
As good as anyone in this league, ever!
Works hard all game and some of his passing is next level
He is a protected species by the refs though.

The league now is the best it’s ever been. We literally send over teams to the USA that on their day can knock off NBA franchises that make the play offs. It’s not saying they are as good, it’s more saying that 20-30 years ago our best side on their best day were getting rolled by 15-20+.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Would Cotton be the best 3 point converter in the NBL ?
I still can't go past Andrew Gaze. Played 22 seasons and NBL's all-time leader in 3 pointers made with 1,826. Cotton's great but this is only his 9th season.
Comparing anyone with Andrew Gaze is unfair.
Cotton would have to be up there with Shane Heal and Brett Maher.
The Bryce
Injured this season
Now back and absolutely dominating
The Bryce is in fine form

Re: 2024-25 NBL Season
Sixers were in it in the 1st quarter but after that couldn’t buy a basket.
Harrell’s shooting was very ordinary and Humphries looked disinterested
Without Davis we would have lost by more.
Really need DJ back to steady the ship and get big Harrell firing again after a poor game today.
