Learnt everything he knows at Athelstone

Surprised he’s in the mix though as has been mentioned, his business was one of the main reasons he moved on from the Eagles.

Maybe something’s changed or Blass & co have dug deep.

Coaches' pay is within the salary cap. Would be impossible to work around that!

Not in the SANFL, there's no soft cap.

Happy to be proven wrong

Perhaps the Bays have a "Visy/ Cotton On" type deal with a couple of their new recruits, hmmm?

The good news is that Sturt are also sponsored by Morris Finance. I look forward to seeing several of our key people engaged as consultants over the coming years.

Every club, not some, not most but every club has players employed by sponsors.

Perfectly legal and more to the point what sponsors do in order to help the club.

I find it interesting that this is allowed (and by the way I think it should be, so have no problem with it) however there is the hypocrisy of not allowing any amateur club to do the same thing. In fact they threaten "Integrity Units" to check it's not happening.

And I think the Bays were against an increase in the salary cap (could be wrong), which would then make sense. If you have good enough employers the salary cap is irrelevant.

Any concern that CIBO will be rebranded Gloria Jean's?
Will the rumours match the quality with the change??
