Said no one ever!
I think this is one of his footy prediction things where the opposite happens.

The way he attempted the 2km time trial at the state based testing was not a good look...
Don't be surprised if Crows don't pick him up - they are really worried about his attitude - loves to party and drinks too much, not good recipe at his age. Do these kids not realise how lucky they are, could be earning $50k per year at Coles if not careful

Had a recruiter come to my lads junior club 10 years ago, he spoke about his team having social media watchers watching potential recruits and their mates accounts. You might not have a beer in your hand, but if you're at a mates party on Friday night at 11pm are you really getting ready for the game Saturday the best you can? Opened up the eyes of two kids in particular, one has been on an AFL list.

A few years ago, the U16 state team boys were told there'd be recruiters on the plane up to the Gold Coast, in the hotel you're staying at and probably at the theme parks on your day off.

Given he’s been on their radar for several years now, why hasn’t he conditioned himself better?

A key forward going in thin and having to put on bulk takes a while (thilthorpe) and they get injured easier.
I'm sure Burgess can't wait to get him in preseason.
He can play so hopefully he survived.

At 191cm he isn't a key forward, therefore his endurance is going to very important as he will be expected to play high up the ground.

Because since u8's he has had wind blown up his ass about how good he is and how he is going to play AFL one day, then he basically gets told by the Crows 12 months out that they are going to take him. A leader at the club is not happy with what he saw this year around his behaviours.

Sounds like a certain back pocket 2x Bays premiership player

The SANFL clubs will also run programs, switched on talent managers will pull kids aside and give them a subtle warning if a kid is heading off the rails.
