Because in recent times teams have shown they're consistently capable of chasing down big totals on the last day
Declaring 300 ahead before stumps on Day 3 is suicide.
354 ahead atm is the minimum you'd want to set Qld to win in 96 overs on a good pitch still.

So we expecting them to bat on this morning then, take few overs out of game, make it say 380 off 90 overs?

Fingers crossed theyve given themselves long enough. I probably would have went with 320 and had a small bowl last night.

I reckon we might have needed a larger carrot there for QLD to chase

Hopefully I'm wrong and we get the job done.

They do have the quality.

With the total being so high I think they probably aren't chasing the win extremely hard, will be a bat normal until tea and then see what it looks like at that point, how many wickets are still in the sheds.

Dont need Khawaja getting this kind of luck, an LB that looked fairly close and then a nick between 3rd slip and gully to the boundary.

Victoria get the first win of the shied season.

Probably makes them favourites for the title given they may not lose a single bloke from this games side. Maybe Marcus Harris at most and maybe Scott Boland if a quick goes down.

The most in form bats in Australian cricket at the moment are virtually all the wicketkeepers.

Is Inglis good enough to play as batter?
