Not a great player but Narkle would be a little unlucky as he played 14 games?? this season

Agreed. Rioli, SPP, Richards, F.Evans is enough in that position but I'd keep Narkle ahead of McEntee.

Surprised he's gone on if I'm honest.

His 2023 season wasn't his best ( averaged 15 touches a game ) and 2024, although not much better numbers wise ( 18 ) he played more outside and was sound on the wing for most of the year. His prelim was awful but he was no lone soldier there as he spent the night deep helping out a very young defence that was overwhelmed. Part of me wanted him to go on, part of me thought the time was right. Interesting to see where he starts in 2025 but with no real midfielders coming in ( other than what we might draft ) he's probably best 23 again.

Clurey still going on? Guess he is depth, holds a contract and with McKenzie retiring he is required, but he knows he is not in the best 22, just like Atkins. How many more can you carry like that?

We have made five list changes with Quinton Narkle, Francis Evans, Tom Scully and Kyle Marshall informed they will not be offered contracts in 2025, while contracted defender Tom Clurey has decided to seek other opportunities to extend his playing career.

I don't reckon Scully's junior development was the best. Saw him play a few times in the U18s, he's a bloody big kid, 203cm, but didn't really go anywhere near the ruck.

You'd think having a couple of strings to your bow at that size would be in your best interests.

Don’t think he wants to ruck, forward is his preference
