Obviously things could still go south from here for the Kiwis, and I would imagine India have a commanding record against them, in the 21st century at least, but still it's incredible in some ways that a country of 5 million is looking at a 300-400 run first innings lead away against a country of 1,450 million.

Also pretty funny that NZ are for some reason our bunnies every time we play, but are at least competitive against pretty much every other side.

Batting in the 70s
PA 366
EG 291
PA 221
EG 144

Each innings receding by a total in the 70s[ 75-70-77]
PA winning the toss was decisive

If you go down to the local park tomorrow you won’t see as many poor shots as what the Poms showed this innings. Absolutely disgraceful stuff

All twenty English wickets were taken by two bowlers, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan.

The last time this feat was achieved was in 1972 when Australia beat England with Bob Massie (on debut, if you don’t mind!) taking sixteen of them and Dennis Lillee the other four.

It’s now happened seven times in Test history, with England being the victim on four occasions, eclipsing Australia’s three.
