wonder if Charlie will head to Port Districts

Him and Lycett in the same team, good luck to the other div 1 teams.
I've heard Dixon's ankle is cooked.

The big Chuck Wagon struggles on the super manicured surfaces of the AFL with his ankles, how will he go on the div 1 ovals?

He might actually get the ball delivered properly in Divv1 instead of bombed on his head every time

Boak is an interesting one, all year he has said he is keen to play on, club tells him he can but he goes away to think about it.

Im guessing maybe its a reduced role or possible SANFL time? or does he have another offer elsewhere?

Minimum salary?

Publicly it's a good story.....happy to have you continue if you want. But does make you think what has been said in the exit meeting.

The conversation would have been around how the squad looks next year.

If we ( looks unlikely now ) get Perryman then there's one less wing spot available as Burgoyne, Perryman and a Drew/mid would be ahead of him.

So, do you want to do preseason number 19 with uncertainty about your role because right now the club doesn't know what your role will be and at 36 that's fair enough, we need to move past Boak at some point.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

SANFL playing/captain/assistant coach role perhaps if he chooses not to go around in the AFL again?

Yeah maybe there is another option within the wider club that doesn't take a list spot, if thats the case then the club would need to know pretty soon.

Boak has always enjoyed the back to the wall, earn my spot type of scenario though.

Port Adelaide great Travis Boak has signed a one-year contract extension.

Will take the 36-year-old into a 19th season.

Boak will start 2025 on 371 games and could surpass Port legend Russell Ebert's 392 next year in playing the most games ever for the club.

Got to admire him, well done.

Serious question, internally does his 371 games include any stints with the Magpies? Lets say he plays 5-6 games there next year, does that go to the club record? Im guessing it would.

With him playing on, new players coming in and minimum draft selections, how many players need to be delisted?

Adelaide has to do two more list changes

So far McKenzie, Dixon, McCallum, Houston are out and Narkle expected to be delisted. 5 out.

Lukosius, Atkins and Richards in. 3 in.

2 spots and we've got 4 picks, I think we'll end up with 3 picks so maybe one more delisting assuming we had a full list this year which I don't know.
