No

I don't think any trades can be confirmed until Wednesday afternoon because #drama

All part of Kenny's "now" strategy, hard to see that if they had a new coach they would be executing stuff like this.

Lol, it probably means both Narkle & Evans both get cut, it’s a 1 yr deal that isn’t costing us anything. The over dramatising everywhere is ridiculous
. If it’s helped us with the trade by absorbing his salary then great

Holding someone on your list who is more than likely not going to play AFL or give that spot to a kid with potential to play 200+ games.

Tell me that isn't a "now" decision....

Port can do what they want, but we can also call it for what it is.

He isn’t taking up a kids list spot lol

Dual AA with multiple years remaining on his contract always meant the price was going to be high

Currently they have only lost three players, it’s ok for them to take their time ;)

Suns need to reduce their list number by 5 due to previous concessions being scaled back. Freeing up a list position is more valuable than the salary cap.

Can't wait to see Booney spin this one as a positive ;)

One thing we know about Booney is he'll bring his hands together with a smile on his face and tow the party line.
The silence so far is because Port havent told him how he should feel about it yet

Happy to hear we’ve rejected it.

If you break it out into components, you perhaps could say it’s roughly right:

Houston for Lukosious and Richards - even?
Pick 13 vs Ports 2025 Rd 1 pick - even
Pick 29 to take on Atkins’s salary dump - even
Pick 36 vs Pick 39 and 58 - even

However what it doesn’t take into account is it’s taking up 2 more list spots (1 player out, 3 in).

I wouldn’t be disappointed if us holding out for a bit more meant this deal falls through.

2024 AFL Silly Season

West Coast fans going into meltdown after one reporter mentioned that they are looking at splitting pick 3 by sending it to Carlton for picks 12&14 plus some other odds and sods
West Coast would then use 14 for Baker

Pretty sure we announced the delisting (McCallum) about a week after the prelim.

Then the retirements of Dixon and McKenzie.

Port aren't silly.
They're scaring him into the possibility of going to north.
I think he'd rather stay at Port if that's the only option they're giving him.

I thought the deal looked ordinary for us anyway.

But he wants to get back to Melbourne is all we keep hearing. He hasn’t nominated a club he wants to play or not play for.

Question for the Norh guys on here and I mean this with no disrespect, would you take Houston? He musn't want to go there (Reportedly offered more coin at North) but with the position North are in, would it matter if he wants to or not? Sifting through all the rubbish online, North fans seem split about this

That's while Carlton and Collingwood were in play, might now find he's staying put.

Houston for Lukosious and Richards - even? - Not at all. If we value Houston as 2 x 1st rounders this isn't even close.
Pick 13 vs Ports 2025 Rd 1 pick - even - Agreed.
Pick 29 to take on Atkins’s salary dump - even - I feel sick thinking about it.
Pick 36 vs Pick 39 and 58 - even - Potentially using 36 to get higher, ok I guess.
