IMO the Normanville Bakery is the hidden gem on the Fleurieu.

Yep, they got a massive leg up years ago and have been living off the hype since.

Cheers, I'll check it out when I'm in the vicinity, I almost forgot that I stopped in at the Yank Bakery a few weeks ago, that was a well presented shop that delivered an 8.

Will say the Yank changed the vanilla slice and its not as good.
However as I'm playing golf up there in a couple of weeks will grab a pie and vanilla slice.
And a pasty plate for dinner the night after.

Nearby on Kensi Road at Erindale is a newish noodle bar that does a lot of offal noodle combos, both cold and hot.

Is it in the old fasta pasta premise?

Must be new. Nearby on Kensi Road at Erindale is a newish noodle bar that does a lot of offal noodle combos, both cold and hot.

The Persian Restaurant is in Fasta Pasta
The Chinese is in the old pizza bar

There's also a new lolly shop at the other (Glynburn Rd) end
I found that incredible until Mrs Jimmy said its a front for illegal smokes and vapes

I still cant get over how many "massage" places have popped up around the area
Old Bracegirdles site on Greenhill Rd
Portrush Rd next to Saigon Vietnamese Rolls
Cnr Tusmore Ave & Greenhill Rd (I reckon this is open 24/7)
Erindale
Must be all the outlanders visiting our restaurants ;)

Then I looked around Kent Town / Norwood

I thought this was an interesting one - nothing to hide here

For bakeries, my local go to is Wattle Park … a tad out of the way but worth it.

For mine, Yankalilla Bakery > Normanville. Pt Elliot is good, but only if you don’t have to line up down the street.
