Got a lady who has lived with us for a couple years coz she had no where to go (best friend of the eldest daughter).. got a boyfriend earlier in the year, got knocked up, then her boyfriend moved in coz his mum kicked him out.
They left an hour ago - apparently having a baby shower around the corner.
Should we have got an invite? I say no / who cares.. Mrs is not happy.
Thoughts?
I reckon they’re young, I dont know many of their friends I wouldn’t want to go.

Should have received an invite out of courtesy and respect.

Was ruminating on this further ... if you want to be ballsy, perhaps reply "it is not my final offer, but the next offer will be lower".

I dont think she will be submitting a price or getting invited to the annual self gratification awards

Couldn't lie straight in bed.
But the way buying or renting a house leaves the door open for greedy, zero conscience go getters.
More they get the more commission they make.
Why does nobody get this fact?
They are forcing the market place to pay what they say not what the property is worth.
The whole framework of having a roof over your head needs a total overhaul.

I feel a lot go into it with the right intentions, but it must be hard when they rely solely on commissions. Maybe I'm thinking that more older ones are like that and more younger ones are as you described.
It is frustrating when they tell you the offer isn't good enough or there are other people inspecting the property because you have little chance of discerning whether they are full of sh!t. Maybe at that last stage a meeting, even teams, should be facilitated between the seller and most-likely buyer.
Also, there is more incentive for them to sell to an investor, regardless of where they are from, because there is the chance of property management fees for their business. Maybe this needs to be looked at.
It is a job which is needed, but it's (self)-importance has been blown out of all proportion.

Claims i've had a duplicate Supercoach account since 2020 and owed a refund of around $400. Obviously they have asked for my bank details.
Surely this is a scammer. Issue being is that i have had a supercoach account since then and i did last year enquire into the fact i believed i was getting charged twice.
However im not willing to give up bank details over the phone for anyone that i cant be sure of.

I did this with an insurance rebate a couple of years ago. Ignored calls, letters, the lot, I was convinced it was a scam.
Turns out it was legit and I got about 800 bucks back!

Seems it’s could be legit
Rang the number on the SuperCoach t and c’s and they were all over the situation. Going to take a couple of days to research more before handing over any details.
