A bit harsh, Bomber.

Tough call to say they've wobbled before. Lost a Div 1 GF by a couple of goals last season. No-one really cares who comes second, but it's a bit early to be putting the Colli-wobbles on them yet.

Harsh? Not even, its just facts. Finished top last season, won the QF, then lost in the big dance. That is a wobble.

Glenunga tho will make up for it this year by 7 goals

Alright - The biggest game in football is this Saturday. Glenunga favourites but i don't think anyone could be too surprised if Ports unbelievable list catches fire and causes the upset to bring home their 2nd flag in 3 years.

Interested to hear everyone's tips except Chloe Fletchers ;)

Maybe Chloe might keep Abe up and about all night Friday night : :partyman: :

You may recall they had a stellar season in Div 2 and won promotion but choked in the Div 2 GF under Grima - Id say that is reasonable evidence of choke - but acknowledged the turnover in the side since then as the mercanaries come and go through the door. Good luck to them tho.

It’ll be one hell of a choke if the Rams lose on Saturday

Mercenaries?

Be hard pressed to find many at Glenunga that have only stayed for 1-2 seasons.

Do people not realise the league hasn’t used Thebby since 2019 having moved offices sometime during the Covid year and having to handover any match control of Thebby to the SANFL. Not even sure if it still has the gate and canteen etc. infrastructure to host AdFL finals. Any a moot point moving forward with the Crows build close to starting.

No but I walk past it a few times a week and it seems a very under utilised asset, the ground looks immaculate. Did look like it was being used for junior football this morning though.

Norwood is trash at the moment

Upset brewing

Districts all over Glenunga, 16 points up at lemon time

Been the better side for the game and should be probably further in front

It's been a scrapy game, Glenunga are unreal on transition, move the footy so quick while Districts have been very solid defensively. Lycett has had the better of West.

Trying to kick it 70m every kick out was predictable as the commentators kept saying

Had to try the inside 45 degree kick to change it up

RAMS should be very nervous

This from the Man that said Districts woukld win last start and was just 75 points from being spot on. Cmon Amber behave yourself.

Rams are about $1.12. anything can happen on GF day but lets be honest they are elite.

Get there and you are a quarter of a chance. Why the fug would a team that is essentially 19-0 be panicking

I told ya wristy, I told you!

Districts were relentless with their pressure and were too good!

Lycett was huge after coming back on the ground injured.
Gray was good so were both Gaffney’s and Sharrad.
TDK’s brother was the general down back and did well on Davis when he pushed forward.

A great team effort!

Don't think the Rams choked as Districts were just too good today!!

So I guess it’s now official that Grima is finished at Glenunga, he’s done a wonderful job without a flag.

Not sure you can do a wonderful job without a flag.
He’s got them to Div 1 which was always his goal but the flag has eluded him.

Called it first. Huge accomplishment to both build the squad and pull it off.

Commiserations to Glenunga. Can only say that after getting so close from 2015-2018 that 2019 was all the sweeter
