Ok mate, just relax and enjoy the weekend.

As I said I don't think Rampe has much to worry about, Butters didn't come off or have any issues. Highly unlikely it gets looked at.

It’ll definitely get looked at but there’s no way he’s missing a GF for that

Port selecting him …

Kenny “coaching” them…
You know what's funny, in between two poor games Voldemort and Port still managed to defeat Hokball and end their season, must be a bit embarrassing to losing to the rabble that is Port in finals.

What do Port fans think has been their problem in finals year after year? It seems there's a fair bit of consensus amongst them that it's a problem.

It’s generally between the ears, not mentally tough enough when it matters.

This year we just weren’t as good as Sydney, Houston, Farrell & SPP would’ve helped but you build squads, I don’t think we blood enough kids.

Port don't get the luxury of bundling 3rd round picks for top quality draftees so they have tried to do it through trades JHF Rioli Rucks Esava Finlayson etc. Doesn't give much opportunity to get quality youth in, might be costly in a few years time.

I'm concerned Geelong not having their midfield coach before and during the game is going to hurt their chances today.
It's probably not something you'd have a contingency plan for.
No rain at Jolimont so far today after a decent shower about 6pm last night.

You’re all wrong

Port are the late 80s to 00s version of the Bays

Promise so much but deliver so little
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I’m not sure that we promise too much, we give off a bit of false hope when we get a run on going but that bubble can easily burst.

Houston, Farrell & SPP in and Port are 4 goal better side.
It's squads that win flags though.

Port tightened up and couldn't hit targets.
They had to keep blasting the ball long into the 50 from the wings which meant the defenders new where to place themselves.
It's a problem with the game plan of take risks to control the corridor.
That's great until you miss targets then the oppo have control and score.

Sydney were just too good on the night. Premiers 2024

Ports method requires a quality tall or 3 up front, and unfortunately for them this late in the season they had Dixon, Sav, Marshall and Finlayson unavailable or down on form. Be interesting to see if they player target in the off-season to suit the model Kenny’s employed, or they tweak their method to suit a mid or smaller forward line as seems to be the growing trend.
