Quite right RIG, in ‘82 they Bays also came from 4th the make the GF, but the Prelim was brutal as you have correctly recalled, and they only had a 6 day break before fronting Norwood.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

And it rained all day in the Prelim. I remember (even by as a kid at the time) how volatile it was in the crowd that day too…

Just had a gander at the WAFL Grand Final ... a general admission ticket bought online is $45, with $6.95 transaction fee (ticketmaster).

VFL GF tickets appear to be $20. No mention of booking fee (intix).

For comparison SANFL GF tickets (according to SANFL website) are $34 (+ $7.65, ticketek).

My concern is that we'll be a little slow to get going, but of course I hope I'm way off the mark and we're 'on' from the opening siren.

Glenelg's to lose; them by 30-ish points.

All the lol's

Top of the table all year, freshened after another extra week’s rest, against a banged up opponent who’ve never beaten Norwood in a GF.

Can't believe some people are giving Glenelg a chance.
If Glenelg win this GF I'll never post on this website ever again.

Norwood should be $1.01 at the best. Glenelg should be worse odds than the Magpies. No chance.

And bubbly on the plane this morning and Balter at our hotel and alcoholic ginger beer at the Palais, something else at an Irish pub and some sort of gin at a nightclub on Ackland St now.
What was the question?

Bays in a close one by 10.

One of McBean, Hosie or Reynolds gets off the chain and gets them over the line.

I said this after Rd 16

Who knows what the next 8 weeks holds in the 2024 SANFL season but we play like we did today it will take a good team to beat us.

We lifted our tackle intensity by 20% that game compared to Rd 2

We bring that tomorrow and play fwd half footy we get the job done.

It is what we’ve done the last three weeks

Won’t be easy though against a quality Norwood side.

Can’t wait.

Bring it!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Several players with knocks, would rather cruise though a 2nd Semi.

Go Tigers.
