On this, there is always talk about players jumping ship, chasing money, or in general not having an interest / commitment to footy.
I feel like the coaching space has become worse in recent years - it's a massive workload to be a club coach, the remuneration isn't ever really good enough across the board for the hours and seems to be a push for increase more and more.. but further to that, coaches either aren't going around long term, or they want to handpick roles that seem the more suitable / ideal.
Finding a quality coach is becoming increasingly difficult and a highly competitive market.
Am I imagining this and over reacting?

Coaches are employed to coach.
Footy directors / Presidents / Clubs recruit.
At least that's how I've operated.

7 Years and is leaving the club in a fantastic place. 1 game from Div 4.
The club from the outside seems to have plenty of juniors and a good female program.
Hopefully for the Rams it continues upwards.

Looks a below standard division based off this years results and if some of these clubs lose a few as is rumoured.
The two coming up from D6 may well find themselves right in the mix of B2B promotions.
