At the Paralympic trials there was a male swimmer that won a place on the team and then basically walked off instead of talking to the reporter and said “talk to me after I win gold”. Does anyone know who that was?

Is Booney OK? No post since 3.40 yesterday afternoon.
I would drive down to Alberton and check on him but with my number plate I'd get lynched before I got off Port Rd.

Did he get sprung defacing the sign out the front of the club? ;)
Which, by the way, is bloody deplorable behaviour.

Yeah, disappointment makes you more resilient. Besides, there’s more to focus on in life than things we have no control of.

FWIW, I’m loving this Hawthorn brand of footy, I’m sure the bubble will probably burst but they’re a couple of years ahead of their rebuild.

Well said.
We all love the game but some just take it too far.
Copping it after a loss, the banter can be pretty funny, and being a pies fan I know what that's like.
It's only a game.

Exactly
Enjoy the wins, enjoy the banter but if a loss affects your day you need to get out and a bout and enjoy life more!

There's copping it and then there is relentless attacks from users that have no vested interested at all, I actually thought we'd cop it more than we did, even Wedgie took the win graciously.

FWIW, I thought finishing 2nd on the ladder was a bit of a Bradbury, we aren't the 2nd best side and I think the Hawks will have our measure this week.

There's no real excuses, we can't blame injuries or suspensions, the footy season is a marathon, not a sprint, you need to re-evaluate every check point to make it through to the next one without getting too far ahead of yourself.

Geelong came with belief and a game plan, we turned up expecting it all to happen, like we have for many home finals and been blown out the water early.

Some very good friends of mine and it's exactly as it reads. She had absolutely no idea she was pregnant.

At 41 with endo she had very irregular cycles her whole adult life and had no indication anything was different.

@JK knows them well too, surprised is an understatement for all that know them.
