Dogs will have to find replacement for Harry Grant who was concussed today.
Liddy and Dittmar returned via ressies today with Dittmar being particularly good.
Larkins nudged close to 40 disposals after being dropped.
Howe will be available and may replace Pickering.

That will mean Harry will miss the finals because of 21 day protocols

By my calculations would be eligible for the prelim if we made it that far..?
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Terrible news re Harry and they only bought in the concussion protocol this season (if he was a Port/crows listed player it would only be 14 days).yu,,,
Harvey Howe would have to come in. Pickering had about 5 hit outs and maybe one or two effecive disposals. Unfortunately, he looks like the most "out of their depth player" I think we've ever had.

Fair to say that Sturt will be a short price to beat us with their record against us .
I hope we try a different way to play against them because at the moment it clearly doesnt work.
I know Port are ordinary but we took the game on and looked good would rather play like that Sunday
than going slow like we normally do .

Didn't see the reserves, why were Liddys stats so low?
Does Harry Grant have a broken jaw?
Surely the port player gets suspended.

According to SANFL injury report broken jaw and concussion.

nine clearances against us most in the last half IIRC. He's a huge loss.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Liddy was managed in terms of minutes played, including not taking the field in the last term.

Not sure if Harry didn't collect friendly fire
Certainly nothing untoward from any opponent.

I watched the replay of the Grant incident. It was a Port player that got him, number 49. The ball was in the area but hard to tell if the Port player was going for it or chose to bump due to the crap quality of SANFLnow.

Looked like a drive-by to me, chose to bump and injured his target, not a hard charge to stick you'd think. SANFL got no love for their reigning Magarey Medallist?

And 5 mins into 3rd quarter ... with Harry damaging in the first half ... makes a fella think.

A drive-by Ferrari? You'd think someone would have noticed that!

Channel 7 news just showed Harry Grant getting bumped off the ball by Ferrari
Hopefully we have long memories for next season if he plays
Ordinary act by a scrubber of a player.

I have watched the video several times and there is absolutely no way the Port player has anything to answer to, even in this sanitised era.
He was in the process of collecting the ball when he collides with Harry who has come in from the side. I doubt he was even aware of Harry before the collision.
Very disappointing outcome and his presence will be missed. His upbeat personality is contagious amongst his team mates. And of course, against the best midfield in the comp, it will be hard to cover our best mid.

I reckon we will be using a run with player on at least one of Sturts triple threats .
