Anything other than full disclosure and the theories can run riot. They have to be transparent either way. What's the bet they roll out Hombsch or Burns and offer neither?

They don't have to be transparent and won't.

No matter what statement the Crows provide or not provide its undeniable Rachele is 'pissing' a few off at the club.

-Coaches drop him (probably performance based)
-An experienced teammate comes out and talks about it not aligning with the way the club wants to play football

Those two things say more than enough. You don't often see teammates coming out and giving one their own a little slap on the wrist in the media, most of the time what they say is only an tenth of what they really feel, its always softened down for media purposes. If Laird is saying that to the media you can only imagine what his saying behind closed doors with other teammates.

The next step is what character Rachele has, does he take the hard road and some how try and find a balance and earn his spot back in the side. Or does he take the easy road and hate everything about Adelaide/SA and look for a trade back home.

Being dropped isn't because of performance.
The experienced teammate plays like a robot and has personality of a dead scarecrow.

Says more about player management and coaching.
If what he said doesn't align with the club, then clearly the club did a poor job in detailing what they want from the squad.

I’m still trying to work out what Rachelle has done wrong?
Had a good season and gets dropped?

I don't pay enough attention to what role he plays but he's played in every game and scored in all but 4 of them, not the most useless going around.

I've said previously, the lad has talent to burn, he just needs to grow a pair and keep the pie hole shut until he has.

Don't disagree with what you're saying just making the point that either way they spin it Rachele has pissed of people at the club (rightly or wrongly). Where the blame lies we can speculate all day.

I don’t think he’s growing a pair anytime soon.
It’s how he plays and I think the crows need to accept that.

Why do the crows continue to put him in front of the media’s or allow him to have media roles if they don’t like him being outspoken or making silly comments.

He’s a young lad he’ll learn……… whether that’s during or after his afl career?

We only see about 5% of his output at the footy club, I suspect they have had issues with him all year and it came to a head last weekend, by dropping him it is the last attempt to get him to straighten himself up so he returns to the club in pre-season with a new selfless attitude.

This could go the other way with a trade request out.

Dan Houston owes him a beer.

Wasn't there footage during preseason of Tex getting stuck into him at training?

Something about match sim and Rachele not playing the team game, or something similar. Clearly there's a pattern there.

I'm right off Laird and more behind Rachele than I've ever been before. So if they're trying to galvanise a group or supporter base, they've gone down the wrong road IMO.

Yep this. What we are seeing in the media directly from the club and its players would be the most diluted version of what's gone on within the four walls.

If it's a media led story then its probably 10 x exaggerated, if its a club led negative story its 10 x diluted.

Support the player not hang him out to dry.
I can see him requesting a trade over summer.
Trade him to the Blues as we need a small forward like him.

He just said he has no intention of leaving

Nicks was strong that this was a body of issues not just last weekend and they have been working on it all season.

The kid is an immature 21 year old who sounds like he needs to grow up a bit.

If this is the end result of a number of failings on Rachele behalf, what are the leaders at the club doing?
They all carry some responsibility.

I think he's goneski.
