Question for North supporters missing finals again will Surjan be safe for next season ?

Back in 2022 North extended Surjan's contract until the end of 2025. I believe that North are quite strong financially, but I doubt whether they could afford to pay out his contract. Many supporters have their doubts about Surjan, but one only has to look at North's injury list this year to see that there have been other contributing factors to North's poor year.
Having offered those excuses, North would have to return to being a contender next year for Surjan to continue into 2026.
One great concern for North supporters is that we may have seen the last of Campbell Combe. He was concussed last Friday night which means that his season is over. I believe that his travelling buddy, Sam McInerney has announced his retirement. They have shared the two hour journey from Crystal Brook to Prospect on Wednesday night and game day for a number of years. Combe has been North's outstanding player for the past 5 seasons and one of the best players in the competition.
