Hopefully he can attract some decent players at some point.
He’s a bit old school but exactly what we need.
Hopefully Jason Sangha can turn out to be a 'decent player' for SA.

I'm sure he'll be appreciated at the lunch and tea breaks.

Moreso that he has to be an ex wicket keeper.

Marsh, Neilsen, Payne... Alex Carey upon retirement is a shoe in.

Still having a sook about what? Do you mean him threatening to boycott the BBL because of Australia's refusal to play Afghanistan in bilateral cricket because of the Taliban's stance on Women's rights?

Apparently that is not the reason for him deciding to miss the BBL, moreso his schedule. Afghanistan is set to play Zimbabwe in Tests and white-ball matches in December and Rashid is committed to play in the SA20 from January 9th. He missed last summers BBL due to a back injury.

Only Rashid knows the reason why…………
He’s always had a busy schedule and found time for the BBL with Adelaide.
It’s disappointing he couldn’t ‘find’ time this time.

At a guess it would be purely due to the South African T20. With him having to leave on the 9th January you wouldn't be surprised also if the Strikers felt that was a distraction more than anything these days.

A couple of Tim Nielsen's captain obvious mates having a whinge. Blewett was useless when he was involved - more interested in working on his golf swing and radio career.

Yeah exactly, i wouldnt be surprised if it was a mutual agreement between Rashid and the Strikers rather than a political stance or anything untoward.
